1 Freshers Driving School — Our Terms & Conditions

• ✅ All lesson and package prices exclude any VicRoads fees (e.g. drive test booking fees, licence application fees).
• ✅ At least 48 hours' notice must be given prior to cancelling or rescheduling a lesson. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee equal to the full lesson cost.
• ✅ All lessons must be paid in advance unless a prior written arrangement has been made with the School.
• ✅ Driving lesson packs have a 6 months' validity from the date of purchase. Unused lessons after this period are forfeited unless an extension is agreed in writing.
• ✅ The driving instructor reserves the right to postpone or cancel a lesson at their discretion — including on safety, weather or conduct grounds — without penalty to the School.
• ✅ Receiving your driving licence is not guaranteed. The instructor must give their approval for the student to sit the VicRoads drive test before a test package can be redeemed.
• ✅ Any pass-rate guarantee does not apply to express or last-minute test preparation packages.
• ✅ Students must hold a valid Victorian Learner Permit (or an eligible overseas licence) at the time of each lesson. The School accepts no liability for lessons conducted without valid documentation.
• ✅ Students must be on time for their lesson. Lessons that start late due to the student's delay will not be extended beyond the originally booked duration.
• ✅ Free pickup and drop-off is included within agreed service areas. Travel outside this area may attract an additional charge, confirmed at the time of booking.

2 Cancellation Policy

• ✅ Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the lesson: no charge. The lesson credit is returned to your account.
• ✅ Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the lesson: the full lesson fee is forfeited unless exceptional circumstances apply (at the School's sole discretion).
• ✅ No-shows (student not available at the agreed pickup point) are treated as a late cancellation and the full lesson fee is forfeited.
• ✅ Cancellations by the instructor due to emergency, illness or unsafe conditions will be rescheduled at no cost to the student.

3 Refund Policy

• ✅ Refunds for unused lesson credits from a package are available within 30 days of purchase, subject to a $20 administration fee.
• ✅ Payment processing surcharges (Stripe / credit card fees) will not be refunded as these are charged by the payment provider.
• ✅ Gift Vouchers are non-refundable once issued. They may be transferred to another person upon written request.
• ✅ Refund requests must be submitted in writing to freshersdrivingschool@gmail.com. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

4 Student Conduct

• ✅ Students must not attend a lesson under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any substance that impairs driving ability. The instructor may terminate the lesson immediately if this is suspected and the full lesson fee will be forfeited.
• ✅ Students must follow all reasonable instructions given by the driving instructor during the lesson.
• ✅ Abusive, threatening or disrespectful behaviour toward instructors will result in immediate termination of the lesson and the booking relationship without refund.

5 Liability

• ✅ All Freshers Driving School vehicles are fully insured. In the event of an accident during a lesson, the School's insurance applies. The student is not personally liable for vehicle damage caused during a lesson, except in cases of gross negligence or deliberate misconduct.
• ✅ The School accepts no liability for any loss, injury or damage arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

6 Changes to Terms

Freshers Driving School reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page and take effect immediately. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
