Meet Your Instructor
I started Freshers Driving School in 2015 because too many Melbourne learners were stuck with rushed, one-size-fits-all lessons that left them more anxious than confident. I'm a VicRoads accredited driving instructor, and I built Freshers around one simple idea: every learner deserves an instructor who actually adapts to how they learn, not a generic script.
I hold current VicRoads accreditation, a Working With Children Check and a National Police Clearance, and I specialise in nervous and complete beginner drivers, overseas licence conversion and intensive VicRoads test preparation.
Over the past decade I've personally taught more than 2,000 Melbourne students — from first-time learners to overseas licence holders getting used to Victorian roads — while maintaining a 98% first-attempt pass rate the whole way through.
Today I run Freshers from my Carlton base at 487 Cardigan Street, with free pickup across every Melbourne suburb. You're with me for every lesson — no switching instructors partway through and having to start over.
