Booking & Payment

All lesson and package prices exclude VicRoads fees (e.g. drive test booking fees, licence application fees).
All lessons must be paid in advance unless a prior written arrangement has been made.
Driving lesson packs are valid for 6 months from purchase. Unused lessons after this are forfeited unless an extension is agreed in writing.
Students must hold a valid Victorian Learner Permit (or eligible overseas licence) at the time of each lesson.
is included with every lesson within our service area. Locations outside it may attract an extra charge, confirmed when you book.
Please be on time — lessons that start late because of the student are not extended past the booked time.
Getting a licence is not guaranteed. Instructor approval is needed before a test package can be used.

Drive Test Bookings

VicRoads drive tests are usually booked 5–8 weeks in advance. Once booked, the slot, instructor and car are reserved only for you.
Because the slot usually can’t be filled at short notice, drive test fees are non-refundable once your VicRoads appointment is booked.
Please contact us as early as possible if you need to reschedule — the earlier you tell us, the more we can help.

Cancellations

Refunds

Unused lesson credits can be refunded within 30 days of purchase, less a $20 admin fee.
Card / Stripe processing fees are not refunded — they are charged by the payment provider.
Send refund requests in writing to freshersdrivingschool@gmail.com. Approved refunds are paid within 5–10 business days.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for 3 months from the date of issue. Unused vouchers expire after this.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable, but can be transferred to someone else on written request.

Student Conduct

Don’t attend a lesson under the influence of alcohol, drugs or anything that affects your driving — the lesson will end and the fee is forfeited.
Follow all reasonable instructions from your instructor during the lesson.
Abusive, threatening or disrespectful behaviour ends the lesson and the booking relationship, without refund.

Liability

All Freshers cars are fully insured. You are not personally liable for damage during a lesson, except for gross negligence or deliberate misconduct.
We are not liable for loss, injury or damage caused by things beyond our reasonable control.
Freshers Driving School may update these terms at any time. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

What is the Freshers Driving School cancellation policy?
