Coburg is one of Melbourne's inner north's most vibrant suburbs, sitting at the crossroads of Sydney Road and Bell Street with trams, cyclists and busy traffic making it an excellent — and challenging — place to learn to drive. Coburg learners navigate Bell Street roundabouts, the tram-heavy Sydney Road, school zones near Coburg High School, and the residential streets of Coburg North, Coburg East and Pascoe Vale.
At Freshers, our Driving lessons cover every road type and challenge you will encounter on your VicRoads drive test. Most Coburg learners test at the Bundoora Customer Service Centre — and our instructors have trained students on those test routes for over 10 years.
Around Coburg you'll practise on Bell Street, Sydney Road, Elizabeth Street, Murray Road and the surrounding residential streets, then on the Bundoora test routes before your test day — so every roundabout, give-way sign and speed zone change is familiar.
We serve the full Coburg area — Coburg 3058, Coburg North 3058, Brunswick 3056, Northcote 3070, Preston 3072 and Pascoe Vale 3044.
However far along you are, your instructor starts from that point — without judgement.
From your first drive, guided calmly.
Patient, pressure-free lessons at your pace.
Adjust to local roads and left-side driving.
